I took a little road trip with some friends this past weekend to an old German town called Lushoto, situated in the Usambara Mountains here in Tanzania. It was an absolutely beautiful trip. Here are some pics from our time there.
on the way to Lushoto
me and my little slice of pumpkin pie, Noella
me and Jill, during the windy ride
views while driving up the mountainside… breathtaking isn’t it?
the Lushoto cliffs
Iemkje, Gaudy, Maggie, and me
Lewis, Jill, Enoch and Noella… aren’t they a cute family… to be. 🙂
Me and my adopted brother, Peter
views from the look out
my newest pet, a two horned camillion… ok, so i didn’t actually keep him, but i really thought about it. 🙂 Look at his cute little two-toed feet. I love it! 🙂
wash day at the river… they wash the clothes with water from the river and then lay them on the grass or rocks to dry in the sun. It was a perfect day for it, that day.
Hope you enjoyed the pictures. The camera does a good job, but it is never quite like seeing the real thing. I love being in the midst of God’s creation. I am constantly in awe of all that He made.
