Today is Saturday… our day off. I actually slept through the night last night and didn’t wake up at all until my alarm went off (Thanks for praying mom!). However, i then proceeded to sleep another two hours becuase i remembered that i didn’t have to be up early. :D:D:D After i did get up, i had some breakfast and sat at my computer and made my to do list… šŸ™‚
“un-pack and organize room, reply to e-mails, finish Search for Significance (book) and begin reading the LAMP book, resize my blog pictures (i did it Joel… all professional lookng now :)), etc.”
Well, i finished Search for Significance (that’s one down), i reorganized my room and finished un-packing (hurray!), i did start on the Lamp book, but only got about 20 pages into it (šŸ˜¦), i replied to a lot of e-mail but haven’t finished, and now i am doing my blogger. Thats a fairly productive day i would say! šŸ˜€

Anywho, tonight we had our first Africa meal. The two women who help us at our house prepared an authentic African meal for us. It was very good. šŸ™‚

Banana Stew, Beef and Potatos, Rice, and Fresh Greenbeans and Carrots

(You should be proud mom, i’ve been eating a lot of vegetables :o))

Today was also the first day that it rained… and man did it pour. The best part about it though is that after the rain went away there was a beautiful view of Mount Kilimanjaro… Take a look…

So today was a day of firsts. First time sleeping really well, first authenthic African meal (for this stay), and first real rain fall. I hope you all had a great day as well. Love you all! God Bless!
